MOROSO USA WANTED DESIGN 2017

On the occasion of WantedDesign 2017, Golran presented to the American public Hunua, the sartorial collection created in collaboration with architect Piero Lissoni, together with a new floral version of the lenticular collection Lake by the duo Raw Edges.

FLAGSHIP STORE DURING SALONE DEL MOBILE 04-2017

After inaugurating its first flagship store in the heart of the Brera district of Milan last autumn, Golran, under the artistic management of Studio Francesca Avossa, continues its expressive research into the contemporary rug, this year drawing on the talent of architect Piero Lissoni, with whom the company is making its first foray into the world of big-name international designers. The new collection Hunua combines the know-how of Golran, seen in the artisanal skills and the choice of elegant materials such as silk, with the innovative research of Piero Lissoni.

Also being presented is a new floral version of the lenticular collection Lake, designed by Raw Edges.

SALONE DEL MOBILE 04-2017

On the occasion of the Salone Internazionale del Mobile, Golran, with the artistic management of Studio Francesca Avossa, is proud to present Hunua, the sartorial collection created in collaboration with architect Piero Lissoni, that combines the art of Nepalese handcraft and rug making with the most sophisticated of tailor-made sartorial details. Together with Hunua, Golran presents a new floral version of the lenticular collection Lake by the duo Raw Edges, winner of the Wallpaper* Design Award 2015.

GOLRAN FOR ELLE DECOR CONCEPT STORE

During Milan Design Week 2017, on the occasion of “Elle Decor Concept Store” exhibition hosted in Palazzo Bovara (03-28 April), Golran contributed providing some of the most iconic pieces of the Contemporary Collections.

From January 20th till January 24th, Golran will take part in M&O Paris 2017, HALL 8 STAND C31, with the new Paralleli collection designed by DIMORESTUDIO and all the other contemporary collections: Meteo by Inga Sempé, Lake by Raw Edges, Triangles by Bertjan Pot, Memories e Shadows by Isabella Sodi and Carpet Reloaded.

OPENING OF OUR FLAGSHIP STORE IN MILAN

Our first flagship store opened in Via Pontaccio 8, in the heart of Milan’s Brera district, in a space restructured by Storage Associati architects with brand art direction by the Francesca Avossa studio.

SALONE DEL MOBILE 04-2016

Golran continues its research into the contemporary rug and for 2016 it has called on the talent and flair of DIMORESTUDIO presenting the new collection Paralleli. The Milanese interior design firm works in the arts, architecture, design and fashion. In its approach to the Golran world, it examined the Persian rug’s historical characteristics and brought them up to date through a union of different styles.

Golran participated with the Carpet Reloaded Collections at the last Milan Fashion Week with a special collaboration for the FW16 show of the minimalist designer Damir Doma.

Golran presents in the Moroso’s Showroom in London – that shows and presents all the contemporary Golrans collection – the new collection Meteo by Inga Sempé. The french designer Inga will be in a conversation with Bethan Ryder, Deputy Editor of the Telegraph, and Francesca Avossa, Art director of the brand.

Golran collaborates with antoniolupi in the set up of their showroom in Stabbia with its contemporary carpet collection Triangles and Shadows.

MOROSO UK London Design Festival 2015

Moroso showed new forniture for 2015 at the London Design Festival. Following their preview at the Salone del Mobile, new pieces by Ron Arad and Patricia Urquiola exhibited in the Uk for the first time, on display at Moroso’s Rosbery Avenue Showroom in Clerkenwell.

DULUX LET’S COLOUR AWARDS 2015

On occasion of the 2015 Let’s Colour Awards the Lake Collection by the duo of designerRaw Edges won the Best Use of Colour in Homes & Interior award.

Golran, in occasion of the NYC Design Week 2015, participated at the talks and the events, with the big names of the design realm, that took place in in the Moroso’s Showroom in New York that shows and sells all the contemporary Golran’s collection.

SALONE DEL MOBILE MILANO 04-2015

Golran presents the new Meteo collection, designed by the French designer Inga Sempé, the fourth chapter in the company’s research program on the potentials of the modern carpet. Meteo is characterized by a poetic and evanescent use of colour, capable of making the wefts of each single carpet disappear to create veritable soft patches similar to light clouds of embroidery. A collection which, as the Art Director Francesca Avossa emphasizes, reinterprets in a contemporary key the classical Persian carpet. The Meteo collection presents three models, Halo, Mirage and Tumulte, each available in three different designs and in different variations of colour.

DOWNTOWN DESIGN

From October 28th to 31st 2014, on occasion of the Downtown Design Dubai, Golran presented all the contemporary Golran’s collection.

ORGATEC

In Cologne from October 21st to 25th during the international trade fair Orgatec 2014 the designers Raw Edges showed their products including the Lake Blue carpet from the Lake Collection in the exhibition “Being Home 4+4” curated by Stylepark.

DESIGN IN FULL COLOUR

From October 18th to 26th 2014 Golran participated with the Lake Blue carpet from the Lake Collection designed by Raw Edges at the exhibition ‘Design in Full Colour’, during the Dutch Design Week 2014, curated by the design duo Scholten & Baijings.

LONDON DESIGN FESTIVAL 2014

On the occasion of the London Design Festival 2014 Landmark Project (13-21 September 2014), Raw Edges created their own interpretation of home in the “A Place Called Home” exhibition including the Lake Blue carpet from the Lake Collection.
