Inga Sempé

INGA SEMPÉ

French designer, born in Paris, Inga Sempé graduated in 1993 at the Ensci Atelier (Ecole Nationale Supérieure de Création Industrielle – Paris), she has worked in several design and interior architecture studios. In 2000, she opened her own atelier in Paris, where she lives. From 2000 to 2001 in Villa Medici in Rome (Academie de France) she has developed her first personal projects, then produced by Edra and Cappellini. In 2011, she was awarded with the award EDIDA (Elle Decor International Award). The following year, she has been guest of honour on Stockholm furniture fair.
The designer collaborates with the French brand Ligne Roset and with international companies such as LucePlan, Wästberg, Moustache, Alessi, Roros, Hay, Svenkst Tenn and Cassina. Recently, she has won the “Form + 1” on Stockholm furniture fair for the clamp lamp “w153” edited by the swedish company Wästberg.
